S&J Building Services (UK) Ltd have been providing our services to the industry since the Company’s formation in the year 2000, and collectively, have over 40 years experience in all aspects of the construction industry.

From humble beginnings, the Company has gone from strength to strength, responding to client’s requests, understanding the needs of each client, organisation and individual, and where necessary, adapting to meet those requirements.. With this flexibility in mind, we can take your idea, develop it from its inception, through design, planning, programme and successful completion, whilst ensuring coherence to agreed financial budgets. Our Portsmouth office is located within Portsmouth Naval Base, where S&J Building Services UK Ltd is privileged to be a resident contractor on the site.

The Company started working in PNB in 2002 for Fleet Support Ltd, who were at that time maintaining the base and building infrastructure, as well as the general road and other services. FSL also maintained a project programme and controlled the spend budget for the MOD. Since that time FSL have been superseded by BVTFSL, BVT and now BAE Systems.

Through our continuing development, we have been able to accommodate the needs of all these aforementioned organisations, in assisting in their O&M department in routine maintenance, repairs and emergency repairs to buildings, structures, roofs, skylights, roads, walls and other assets. We have also tendered, won and completed varying projects for their projects department from new roofs, building refurbishments, electrical refurbishments, civil works, and heritage works to those areas and buildings of important historical interest.

The company delivers all categories of construction and building services, Industrial, Commercial and Domestic, utilising qualified, skilled and fully insured Personnel and trades. The company works tirelessly to maintain its standing within the industry and have attained many certifications including UKAS ISO 9001:2015, thereby assuring our clients that we have a fully supported and audited Quality Management System.
